VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION MEETING
Thursday, April 30
7 pm – 8 pm, Hosanna House (807 Wallace Avenue)
We will be holding a meeting to orient volunteers on Thursday, April 30 at 7 pm. The meeting will be held at the Hosanna House. We will spend the evening answering questions about the event, assigning volunteers their tasks, talking about when they will need to show up on the day of the event, and showing them where they will eventually be stationed and what they will be doing. Come be a part of the 2015 Vacant Home Tour!
Food will be provided.
TOOLS AND RESOURCE WORKSHOP
Saturday, May 9
1 pm and 3 pm, Landmarks Preservation Resource Center (744 Rebecca Avenue)
As a part of the tour, there will be a Tools and Resource Workshop, where tour participants can learn more about the options, tools, and resources available to help them acquire a vacant and abandoned property. Panelists will talk about the programs that they run and how to access them, residents who have used these programs will talk about their experiences, and literature will be available to help de-mystify the process.
